Jean M. James (November 29, 1927 – July 15, 2014)

Jean Marie James, 86, of Zanesville, died at 4:55 P.M. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 29, 1927, in Williamsport, PA, a daughter of the late Ralph and Sophia Palucki Hiebel. She loved antiques and working in her garden.

Surviving are a daughter Diana (Jim) Polk of Zanesville; two sons, Dale A. “Bruz” (Tracy Lynn) James of Boca Raton, FL, and Gary (Angela Carder) James of Duncan Falls; five grandchildren, Brandon James, Cory James, Drew James, Alex James, and Joshua James; a great grandson Lincoln James; two step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; and one step great great grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale E. James, who died June 20, 1994; two brothers, John R. Hiebel and Ralph Hiebel Jr.; and a step great granddaughter Josie Roush.

Friends and family may call from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 18, 2014 with Rev. Tom England officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Dale at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville.
