Kayla looks for a Family

Kayla is full of spirit and always on the go and is now looking for a family to fit into her active lifestyle.

There’s no hesitation when you ask 15-year-old Kayla what she wants to be when she grows up. She wants a career in cosmetology.

"You get to be creative with what you do," explained Kayla. "You help out other people and do fun stuff with them."

Kayla learned all about her future career during a trip to Valley Beauty School in Zanesville where she took a tour and even got her hair done. It’s one of the few times Kayla isn’t on the go.

"I like different sports like volleyball and in my free time I’ll hang out with friends," said the teen.

She even has plans to try-out for her school’s volleyball team this fall and is hoping she’ll have a family to cheer her on and take part in activities.

"I want a family that’s outgoing, athletic and fun and be a family that can be there when I need to talk to them," said Kayla. "Just someone that is laid back and is easy to hang out with and talk to."

Kayla also would like to have younger siblings so that she can be a mentor to them and wouldn’t mind pets, especially if it’s a dog.
