Economy Linen to Hold Ribbon Cutting

Economy Linen To Hold Ribbon Cutting

One local business is celebrating change…

Economy Linen, by the Pick-N-Save on Howard Street, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony near the end of this month. The business provides services for a number of organizations within the state of Ohio.

"It focuses entirely on the healthcare linen industry. We serve 24 hospitals in this area, with the highest quality linen products. So when you stay at a hospital, chances are you’re using our linen," said Vice President of Operations Jim Buchbinder.

Economy Linen recently made a two-million dollar renovation to the factory’s washroom. Buchbinder said this will improve productivity, and also help improve the condition of our area.

"The benefit of that renovation is not only to Economy Linen, but also to our customers, to our employees, and to the community at large, because it’s going to allow us to bring more business into this plant, which will in essence, create more jobs."

The ribbon cutting takes place on May 23rd. State Representative Brian Hill and Senator Troy Balderson will be in attendance.
