Surveys Needed From Moxahala & Woodlawn Residents

The city of Zanesville is looking for feedback from the community to aide in obtaining grant money.
The city is applying for a grant to revitalize the Moxahala & Woodlawn neighborhood.
Community Development Director Stacy Clapper said the city is in need of more residents to fill out a survey to figure out how to best utilize the grant funds.
"We provided them with a survey, that we’ve asked them to complete and help us to select the projects and to help identify additional needs in the neighborhood, and then to help us prioritize those activities."
The $300,000 grant would be used to make general improvements to the neighborhood, and to the area parks.
Clapper said that they have received some feedback from residents, but is looking for more responses.
"We have had over 30 people attend our meetings and close to 50 people fill out surveys for us, but there are still a lot of resident in the neighborhood that haven’t made that information available to us and we would like to hear from them."
If you live in the Moxahala & Woodlawn area, you can contact the office of Community Development at 455-0612 by Friday to request the survey.
