Local Artist on Display

A new exhibit is on display at the Zanesville Museum of Art.
Zanesville artist Susan Stubbins debuted fifty-eight pieces of art she’s been working on for the last five years.
"They are all fairly recent works. They are all mixed media collages with watercolor, acrylic, paper. I use circles as a theme throughout my different pieces," said Stubbins.
Stubbins, a member of Z.A.A.P. has an art studio on 3rd Street in downtown Zanesville. She is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from art lovers and her own family.
"It’s amazing. I have seven brothers and six out of the seven and my mother have been able to come from Chicago to Florida, i have them spread out between north and south so it’s been fun for me to have them out here," said Stubbins.
The exhibit runs through September 8th.
