Accident Causes Spill

The rain caused an accident Friday afternoon in Wayne Township.

It happened around 2:30 on North Dietz Lane. According to Trooper Stephen Williams with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, a red Toyota Corolla hydroplaned and hit a Green Valley Co-op feed truck.

Williams says the Toyota struck the hydrolic tank on the truck causing a spill. County workers were called in to clean up the scene, because it was causing the road to become extremely slippery.

No one was injured in the crash.
