Accident Closes Portion of Linden Ave

Zanesville,OH- An accident has blocked a portion of Linden Avenue.

Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency Director Jeff Jadwin said that Linden Avenue is blocked from the middle of the Y-Bridge to Lee Street.

Jadwin said a truck hit the underpass ripping the bed and bucket from the truck. He said fluid also spilled into the storm sewer.

Jadwin said that the northbound lane off the Y-Bridge are back open but the southbound lane remains closed as crews continue the clean up effort.
