Accident Cuts Power in Muskingum Co.

 American Electric Power reports that some of its customers are without service Friday morning. 

Officials report that power was cut to 217 customers after a car hit a power pole. It will take one to two hours before power is restored. 

As a result of the outage WHIZ’s AM 1240 will be off the air until service is restored. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.
