Adams Lane Healthcare and Rehabilitation Pays Tribute to Veterans

ZANESVILLE, OH – Adams Lane Healthcare and Rehabilitation partnered up with Buckeye Hospice Care to honor veterans.

The veterans that were honored were presented with a certificate, pen, and a coin.  Destiny Barnett, the Clinical Staffing Scheduler at Adams Lane, says this day was to celebrate and let the veterans know they are appreciated.

“We really like to make our residents feel like they’re appreciated and a part of the community,” Barnett said. “This is one of the biggest honors they could’ve done for us, so we want them to know and understand that we are grateful for that.”

Joshua Brassfield, the Provider Relations Manager with Buckeye Hospice, says it was a great privilege to be able to put on a program like this.

“We’re here to celebrate our veterans at Adams Lane,” Brassfield said. “I think it’s a great privilege to be able to honor these individuals who have served our country and being amongst them.”

The program wrapped up with staff reading letters written to the veterans from local schools.
