Alice In Wonderland Jr.

Some of Zanesville’s youngest will be falling down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

Sunday, the Zane Trace Players held auditions for Disney’s Alice In Wonderland Junior. The classic tale of a young girl who falls down a rabbit hole, and awakes in a magical world. Auditions took place at Renner Theater for actors ages 18 and younger.

“Well, I’m a teacher and I see that students really don’t get as much time with art, music, and theater. And so, doing something like community theater just gives the kids who don’t have that chance in school, an opportunity to come out and shine,” said director, Sarah Gantzer.

If you missed Sunday’s auditions don’t worry. You can still audition Monday at 6 p.m. at Renner Theater. Rehearsals will begin as soon as the musical is cast, and opening night for Alice In Wonderland Junior is Friday, March 13th.
