American Legion Gives Back
Post 29 of the American Legion stepped out to raise money for local veterans today.
The second annual charity run and rally featured a poker run, car show, corn-hole tournament and prizes to be won including a 2004 Harley Davidson Superglide. Treasurer of the American Legion Riders Betty Shanks said they work all year to put on the event and it’s worth it if they can give back.
“Well it’s always good to give back the veteran’s after what they’ve done for us,” said Shanks.
100 percent of the proceeds go toward the Muskingum County Local Veterans Project.
