American Spirit Reigned at Stars and Stripes
Today was all about the red white and blue all over the U.S.A and Zanesville, Ohio was no exception.
An audience surrounded Cliff Cody in the early afternoon and swayed to the sound of country music and offered kind words to those fighting to keep America, the country they love.
“I would say thank you for serving in the military,” said Justin Sweat. “The Army… thank you for having the country to be saved,” Emma Lynnpape.”Thank you aunt Stephanie, Uncle Adam and Daddy.. thank you for serving our country,” said Addalyn Wells.
Even though the food was tasty, “It’s homemade from scratch just like grandma used to make,” said Michelle Lamp of Tara’s Concessions.
Everyone agreed on the best part of the day.
“Being free,” said Jeff Taylor. “All the freedoms that I have here that I couldn’t have anywhere else,” said Michelle Lamp.
