Andrew D. Williams, 1994 – 2018
Andrew D. Williams, 23, of Zanesville, died 1:30 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Genesis Hospital CCU. He was born Monday, September 12, 1994, in Zanesville, the son of Rickey D. Williams and Kay D. (Ripple) Williams.
Fitting to how Andrew lived his life, he gave the ultimate gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Andrew loved nature and being outdoors with all its beauty. He never met a stranger, always felt naturally comfortable with all types of people and was not just a survivor but lived life to its fullest. He was employed with the Tree House Deli and Weasel Boy Brewery. Andrew loved music, dancing, singing and local theater. He was talented and crafty enjoying painting, decorating, and all arts and crafts. He was at his happiest when he would bring joy to his family and friends; spending time with them meant the world to him.
In addition to his father, Andrew is survived by three sisters: Andrea (Rob) McNeish of Zanesville, Stephanie Williams of Crooksville and Kelly Williams of Zanesville; special friends: Darra (KieRon Santana) Durst, Robin (Tyrece) Kimbrough and family, Lindsay Anderson and Andie Ross all of Zanesville; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members including: Alexis (Jordan) Theisen, Destiny Hankinson, Taylor McNeish, Ella Zink, and Alana Theisen all of Zanesville.
Andrew was preceded in death by his mother; Kay D. Williams and one niece: Ana Zink
Friends may call Thursday, July, 5, 2018, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where a Celebration of Andrew’s Life will be held at 6:00 PM. In honor of Andrew, all are encouraged to wear vivid and bright colors, tie dye and rainbows to the services. Following Andrew’s wishes, a cremation with care will follow.
