Annual Rose Day Coming Soon

Just as you may have started to forget about Valentine’s Day, the two Rotary Clubs in Zanesville are giving you another opportunity to share the gift of a rose.

The clubs’ annual rose sale starts soon. The President of the Noon Rotary Club, Paul McClelland, describes the sale.

"Both rotary clubs in Zanesville will be selling roses from March 10th to March 25th," McClelland said. "They’re $18 a dozen and it’s one of our annual fundraisers which allows us to do some of the service projects that we do on an annual basis."

Mcclelland said this sale and the other fundraisers through the year goes towards scholarships for area high school students and to the many other things Rotary does for the community.

"They’re really sort of the economic life blood of the club that allows us to continue to serve the community and helps us to just keep the club viable and here for support," McClelland said.
