Annual Trick or Treat Night at Colony Square Mall
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Colony Square Mall and the Muskingum Hunger Network are saying boo to hunger.
Wednesday, October 31st from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. the mall will be hosting their annual trick or treat Halloween night. The Hunger Network will be there collecting non-perishable food items during the event.
Kevin Pinson, Special Leasing and Marketing Representative said, “We’re happy to provide a safe warm environment for the kids to come out and trick or treat but also it really helps the local food pantries that we collect a truck load of food which goes to help feed the hungry.”
All of the canned goods and non-perishable food items collected at the event will be given to local emergency food pantries. Kids have the opportunity to dress up and see what good giving to those in need can do.
“I mean it’s great, we have a great crowd that comes out every year. It’s a lot of fun to walk around and see all the kids in their costumes and of course we’ll have our mall mascot, Cozmo the Mall Dog, he’ll be walking around greeting kids as well,” Pinson said.
