Another Round of Flooding Across Region

CROOKSVILLE, Ohio–Heavy rains overnight caused flooding concerns across the area.

Some areas across the  region saw anywhere from a half inch to two inches of rain which caused flooding on roadways.

Several roadways are flooded in Crooksville including China Street. The Village Green Apartments also experienced flooding.

According to the Crooksville Fire Department,  a voluntary evacuation notice that was issued Monday morning for residents in flooded and flood-prone areas has been lifted.

Officials want to remind residents that if you see a flooded roadway  you should turn around, don’t drown.

Water levels on nearby creeks and streams remain high creating the potential for more flooding.
