Another Winner at Mother Tucker’s

Mother Tucker’s lottery hot streak continued into June.

The lottery is a big part of the store’s business. Owner Jimmy Pitcock said many people come in to purchase tickets on a regular basis, and just a few months after selling a $1 million ticket, the store has now sold a $2 million winner.

“The odds of it happening two times in six months at the same store, it’s just unreal,” Pitcock said. “I guess I’m just kind of speechless. I guess it just shows that lightning can strike twice.”

The winner does not wish to be identified at this time, but Pitcock said that he’s a customer that comes in frequently. He said that it seems like there just may be something special happening at his store.

“It’s very cool just for a county to sell two of them and then for one store to do it, it’s just like maybe there is something special about that,” Pitcock said. “I’m not a big believer in conspiracy but it’s like something happened.”

The customer won the $2 million from purchasing a $20 Lucky Loot scratch off ticket.
