Arrest Made in Burglary and Theft Case

Junction City- A man is behind bars in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail accused of burglary and theft.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said around 2:20am Monday they were called to 100 Sycamore Street in Junction City regarding an active burglary.

The homeowners, who weren’t home reported seeing an intruder inside their home via video surveillance. Deputies said at the scene they located Christopher Lutz inside the home, barricaded in a bedroom.

All property was recovered and returned to the homeowners.
