Arrests Made in Homicide Investigation
Licking County- The Licking County Sheriff’s Office has made a series of arrests in a homicide investigation in Hanover Township.
The Sheriff’s Office said four suspects have been charged with aggravated murder and are being held in the Licking County Justice Center.
Those arrested include:
- 46-year-old Jason Castle of Hopewell
- 44-year-old Travis Schwarz of Newark
- 39-year-old Brandy Sunkle of Newark
- 36-year-old Sasha Martin of Newark
Authorities said on Monday, October 7 deputies were called to the 3000 block of Albright Road regarding a reported shooting. Deputies said upon arrival they found 48-year-old Dale Matson, of Newark, deceased. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office immediately began an investigation and determined the shooting was not a random act of violence.
The investigation is ongoing.
