Art Coz Presented the Artist and Musician of the Month at ZAAP Today

DOWNTOWN ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Art Coz is preparing for its First Friday celebration this upcoming Friday. The first Friday of the month the Artist Colony of Zanesville coordinates outdoor art galleries, live performances, and more in downtown Zanesville. If it’s not raining, they even plan on providing chalk for the kids to decorate the sidewalks.

This month, the featured artist the ZAAP Gallery itself. The director, who is also an artist, is RoseMary Ludt, and she is inspired by landscapes and other natural scenes using a variety of painting methods. 

“I like to use different mediums like pastel, water color, acrylic, oil, some charcoal. And what inspires me is just about anything that will hold still long enough for me to paint it,” RoseMary Ludt, artist of the month stated.

This month, the featured musician is Paul Mainini. He and his band, Mister Joe, find their inspiration from others rather than themselves. 

“And as far as why I do this, is because a lot of people tell me they enjoy it. So as long as people are enjoying it, I’m going to keep doing it,” Paul Mainini, musician of the month stated.
