Artists of the Month

Two completely different artists are sharing one studio and will be featured at this Friday’s First Friday Art Walk.

Cheryl Randles and Teresa Huffman Caw both call Elements Studio home. Randles is a multimedia artist who is best known for her oil candle rocks she loves to paint and this year she will sell art that she is finally ready to release to the public.

"I just couldn’t do it before, but now I’ve just kind of like moved on I want to do that. I’m trying to grow as an artist and let go of a lot of things and see where I can go from here," said Randles.

Randles also has pottery,mosaics and abstract art for sale.Teresa Huffman Caw is a multimedia artist but her expertise is stained glass because it’s the medium that she says most speaks to her.

"I like vintage things real well and it’s a real old art so I appreciate that I appreciate the workmanship, said Huffman."

Huffman uses her visions to make her work. It could be a sea theme or a simple bottle of wine. Both artist have Pericles that range from cheaper to more expensive in price depending on the materials used and the time spent. They are most excited to sell some of their art at the walk and meet people with similar interest.
