Ashley Furniture to Host Soft Opening

ZANESVILLE, OH – A new furniture store is getting ready to open its doors to the public this week.

The new Ashley Homestore, located at 210 El Camino Dr. in South Zanesville, will have a soft opening Friday, May 3rd.

Bo Coconis, the Co-Owner of Coconis Furniture and now Ashley, says they have been working on the project for a few years now.

“So obviously, Coconis Furniture has four retail locations and we had the opportunity to partner and become a licensee of Ashley,” Coconis said. “So we’re bringing this to Zanesville; truly, everything inside is going to be run from Coconis Furniture. The unique thing about the Ashley Homestore is the fact that we have unique, one of a kind, exclusive styles that Coconis Furniture can’t get.”

Coconis says this store will join the just over 1,000 other Ashley locations nationwide. He says another reason for partnering with Ashley was because they are a family run business, just like his.

“Truly, it’s a match that, we feel, compliments what we are already doing,” Coconis said. “It’s something that we feel Zanesville has needed and when we had the opportunity we jumped at it.”

Coconis says the grand opening of the Ashley store will take place in the coming weeks.
