AT&T Gives $10,000 To Benefit Area Schools

AT&T Wednesday made a $10,000 contribution to Battelle for Kids in support of the organizations Pathways to Careers program and the Ohio Appalachian Collaborative. It will benefit the East Muskingum Local Schools and the Franklin Local Schools. The Pathways to Careers program provides workforce development mentorships and exposure to at-risk high school students to allow them to make informed decisions regarding their future careers. Through the program OAC school districts will have an opportunity to develop relationships with local businesses in an effort to create internship and career readiness experiences for students. State Senator Troy Balderson says “I’m encouraged by the great work of this program and its participants, as well as the support provided by partners like AT&T. The presentation took place at Ohio University-Zanesville.
