Authorities Identify Body

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of a body found earlier this week.

The Coshocton County Sheriff said 27-year-old Nicole Levi Ayers, from the Columbus area, was found on Township Road 68 in Pike Township on Wednesday.

The sheriff said it doesn’t appear that Ayers was a victim of anything sexual in nature.

Authorities said around 6:30pm on March 8, the sheriff’s office received a 911 call from a man travelling down Township Road 68.

He discovered the body in a small wooded area.

BCI and the Coshocton County Coroner were called the scene.

Ayer’s body was later taken to Licking County. The incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
