Authorities recover body from river believed to be missing Licking County man

COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio– The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday the discovery of a body in the Tuscarawas River.

Authorities said a search party was conducting a search for a male subject who went missing from Licking County on March 23rd.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the river located in Lafayette Township shortly after 12 p.m. and recovered the body of a deceased male.

This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office and the Coshocton County Coroner.
