Babe Ruth Baseball: Saturday Scores

The Zanesville Americans cruised to 20-7 win over Chillicothe in the first round of the 45th Annual 15-year-old Babe Ruth Tournament at Gant Stadium.

They’ll play tomorrow against Mount Vernon at 8pm.

Newark didn’t fair as well in their opener. They lost to Cincinnati 3-2. They move to the losers bracket where they face Springfield at 12:00pm.

Springfield lost to Chillicothe earlier in the day 8-1, moving them to the losers bracket.

Cambridge defeats Jefferson County 5-2. Six Cambridge players had hits.
