BACK AND FORTH AFFAIR ENDS IN THRILLER

It was a back and forth game as the West Muskingum Tornados defeated the Philo Electrics in Muskingum Valley League action.

West Muskingum took the first set 25-19. Philo took the second 16-25, but it was the Tornados third and fourth sets that gave them the victory.

Senior Sydney McWhorter led the team with 11 kills, 17 digs and was 100 percent serving. Kyler Moore added 10 kills and was 100 percent serving. Junior Rebecca Strunk had 9 kills and 5 blocks. Camryn Welch had 6 kills on the night and was 100 percent serving. Sophomore Gianna Ewert had 6 aced serves.

Philo’s Brooke Colling and Caitlin Rose both had 10 kills in the loss. Amasia Barnett had 28 digs, Ashley Pletcher 22 digs and Brooklyn Ferrell 19 digs.
