Bad Road Conditions

If you were out early Saturday morning then you probably noticed the slick road conditions.
We may be light on snow so far this year but that doesn’t mean driving hasn’t been presented any obstacles this winter. Ice and freezing rain have been a problem for drivers. In fact, the freezing rain caused trouble for drivers Saturday morning. However, for some, the cold doesn’t pose any challenges.
“We lived in Rochester, New York for many years, and that was a snowy cold area. Around here people are paralyzed when there’s a half of an inch of snow on the ground, schools are closed when it’s cold and so forth. Where we were from it could be 14 below and snowy and the school would be open,” stated local shopper, Fred Guevara.
While some people are hoping the freezing rain will turn into snow, others are dreading the day that familiar white powder begins to accumulate on the ground.
“Well snow is safer I think,” stated shopper Patricia Guevara. “But I don’t care particularly for having snow, so I’m glad that it’s been so far pretty non-snowy this winter. ”
Whether you are hoping for snow or not, it is important for drivers to remember to drive safe and slow in bad weather conditions.
