Balderson Appointed to Committees

A State Senator from our area is named to four senate standing committees Monday.

State Senator Troy Balderson, a Republican from Zanesville, will serve as Vice-Chairman of the Senate Energy and Public Utilities Committee. He will also serve on the Senate Agriculture Committee, Senate Health, Human Services and Aging Committee and Senate Highways and Transportation Committee.

Balderson said that each of the committees holds a unique significance and deals with issues critical to Southeast Ohio.

Balderson was appointed to represent the 20th Senate District this summer. He previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives.
