Barbara Jean Hanna 1941 – 2017

Barbara Jean Hanna, 75 of Zanesville, died 12:19 PM, Monday, November 6, 2017, at Genesis Hospital. She was born Monday, December 1, 1941 in Zanesville, the daughter of Lee O. Power and Lillian M. (Tittle) Power. She married Lloyd Hanna who preceded her in death 1995.

Barbara was a bookkeeper and office manager for the Best Western Town House and retired from Zanesville Glass. She loved to travel, especially the beach. Barbara loved a good book but most of all she was a kind, caring and gentle soul to others and animals.

Barbara is survived by one sister: Katherine Lanning of Zanesville; a special niece: Deborah Ann Waters of Zanesville and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by three sisters: Dee Williams, Gladys M. Zeigler and Tracie Daspin; five brothers: Richard M. Power, Jesse D. Power, Paul A. Power, Lee L. Power and Orville O. Power

Friends may call from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2017, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Gary Bennett officiating.
