Beer Dock Break-In Suspect Charged
Zanesville Police have identified a suspect from a break in at the Putnam Beer Dock last week.
Detective Ric Roush says 36-year-old Jason Dooley of Zanesville is facing one count each of breaking and entering, possessing criminal tools and theft.
Roush says around 3:30 Thursday morning Dooley is accused of busting out the window of the beer dock, and taking an undisclosed amount of beer and cigarettes.
The case will be presented to a Muskingum County Grand Jury on Wednesday.
Detective Roush says Dooley’s involvement in a robbery later Thursday afternoon at the Goodwill drop-off location in the K-Mart parking lot is still under investigation. No charges have been filed against Dooley in that incident.
