More than 100 kids could take off on a new set of wheels this weekend…

For the second year, Old Boy Bikers is organizing a bike giveaway on Sunday in conjunction with Stars and Stripes on the River.

"We’ve rounded up 100 bicycles probably a little more, from area businesses, individuals like yourself and they’ve treated us right. We went to Walmart yesterday [Thursday] and purchased 100 bicycles, we’ve got some little electric cars, some Radio Flyer Wagons, and scooters, but a lot of bikes," says Kenny Forsythe, Old Boy Bikers Coordinator.

Any child 13-years-old and younger can sign up on Sunday between 10:30a.m. and 2:30p.m. After last year, Forsythe knew that he would have no trouble acquiring the support to do it again.

"We got so much enjoyment out of it, watching the kids, we thought we’d do this again, and try to make it bigger," says Forsythe.

It is free to sign up, and they will start giving bikes away at 2:30p.m. until they are all gone.
