ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville is preparing for their upcoming 38th Annual ‘Bowl For Kids’ Sake’ event.

The fundraising event is set to take place at Sunrise Bowling Center where participants can create teams to raise money for the organization’s programs.

Executive Director, Katie Mainini, explained the process of the ‘Strike it Big’ raffle and how teams can register to sell the tickets.

“We are selling ‘Strike it Big’ tickets, which we give to each team, when they register, so my staffs’ out running around right now handing packets out to area businesses that have formed teams or just other people who wanted to get involved with us,” Mainini said.

The tickets are 3 for $10,or $5 a piece and each team is encouraged to sell the tickets to help raise $500 each.

The raffle has seven different packages to participate in and win, including golf, spa, homeowners and more. If you do not want to bowl you still are welcomed to donate or purchase raffle tickets to support the event.

Mainini gave us details on the event stating that, “We’ll have music, food, fun.. we’ll have a DJ there for our event, all 3 days of the event. It’s tons of fun, very interactive not only just bowling but of course supporting the big volunteers in our programs as well as the littles that are enrolled in our programs.”

The event will be held from May 4th to the 6th, 5:30pm to 8:00pm each day and the winners for the raffle will be announced on the final day of the event.
