Big Drug Bust in Guernsey County

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office conducted a big raid this week that resulted in a dozen arrests. Captain Jeremy Wilkinson says more than 100 law enforcement officers from multiple agencies raided five homes and arrested a dozen men and women who are facing more than 25 felony charges. The homes were located in Cambridge, Quaker City and Old Washington. Captain Wilkinson says officers recovered meth, heroin, crack cocaine, illicit pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cell phones, weapons and large amounts of cash. Sheriff Jeffery Paden says he was excited that all these agencies came together to impact the current drug epidemic. The Muskingum County Special Response Team assisted the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and five other agencies in the early Tuesday morning drug raids.
