Big Red set single season win total record; Lady Muskies fall at home

GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Denison men’s basketball team picked up an 80-66 win at home Wednesday against Hiram to set a school record.

Denison has now won 20 games this year, the most in a single season in school history. The previous mark of 19 was held by the 1996-’97 team. Denison’s high scorer was Andrew Castagnetti who had 23 points including six three-pointers. The Big Red’s last regular season game is Saturday against Wabash at home.

In New Concord the Lady Muskies have now dropped five in a row as they fall at home to Marietta 74-67. Senior day is this Saturday for Muskingum. They’ll take on Heidelberg.
