Bishops and Lady Devils Advance in Sectional Playoffs

The Zanesville girls and Rosecrans boys both found different ways to win on the soccer field, but both teams share the common ground of advancing to the next round of the sectional playoffs.

Jade Johnson found the net with 2:51 remaining to lift Zanesville past Watkins Memorial. The Lady Devils host Delaware Hayes on Thursday.

Lane Dailey scored twice and Logan McLaughlin and Tucker Zemba also tickled the twine as Bishop Rosecrans blanked Steubenville Catholic Central at the Maysville Athletic Complex, 4-0. The Bishops take on the winner of Hiland and Caldwell on Saturday.
