Blanchard Bond Set At $100,000
The one person charged in connection with a double homicide in Cambridge appeared in Municipal Court Thursday for a bond hearing. Cambridge Court officials say 23-year-old Maigen Blanchard of Cambridge had her bond set by the Judge at $100,000. Her next court appearance is July 3rd at 1 p.m. to hear whether she requests a preliminary hearing. Earlier this week Blanchard was charged with complicity to commit aggravated robbery in connection with the shooting deaths of two men. Guernsey County Sheriff Michael McCauley says his deputies are searching for whoever shot and killed 31-year-old Christopher Morrison and 25-year-old Justain Nelson Sunday at Coventry Estate Apartments in Cambridge. Guernsey County Prosecutor Dan Padden says he does not think Blanchard will be the only one charged in this case. Anyone with information about the double fatal shooting is asked to call the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office at 740 439-4455.
