Blood Moon in Zanesville
Here is a picture of the Blood Moon thanks to viewer Jim Mayercak. He told us he took this picture with his telescope in Zanesville. Thanks Jim.
This was the second of four consecutive "blood moons" to be visible in the United States during a two-year time span. The moon lined up with the Earth and the Sun at 5:15 AM The moon became progressively redder from 5:15 AM until 6:25 AM At 6:25, it entered the Earth’s shadow and became totally eclipsed. The total eclipse ended around 7:22 AM
