Body Found in River Identified

DUNCAN FALLS, Ohio–The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the body discovered in the Muskingum River.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said the body has been identified as 20-year-old Austen Grindley.

Grindley’s body was recovered from the river near Duncan Falls last Wednesday by crews from the Wayne Township Fire Department.

Grindley was last seen leaving his apartment on Newark Road  in Zanesville on March 16th.

Sheriff Lutz said  no foul play is suspected in Grindley’s death.
