Boil Advisory Issued in Zanesville

Boil Advisory
ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The City of Zanesville’s Water Division has issued a precautionary boil alert for some of its customers due to an emergency water main repair .
The boil advisory is only for the customers in the affected area below.
  • Adams Lane from Newark Rd. to Somers St. Including Doaks Lane and Adams Lane Apts. and Village West Apt
Customers are being advised to not drink the water without boiling it first. You should bring all water to a boil, let it boil for at least one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
Water samples will be collected once the work is completed and service is restored. An additional notice will be given when the boil advisory is lifted.
For further information contact the City of Zanesville Water Division at (740) 455-0631
