Boil Alert Issued

The Muskingum County Water Department has issued a boil advisory.

Officials say the area affected is the corner of Pioneer Drive going south including South River Road to Gaysport and all side streets.

The boil advisory is due to a fire hydrant being fixed in that area.

Customers should check water for discoloration before doing laundry.

The boil advisory is in effect until further notice.
