Boy Confirmed Dead After Wall Falls On Him
A young boy is dead after a construction accident early Monday morning in Harrison Township.
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says around 9 a-m, 9-year-old Isaac Angler was working on a roof with his step-father Jeremy Ball at 3120 Durants Road, when the tragic accident occured.
"He had been building a wall to put up out of two by fours and the wall had accidentally fell over and struck Isaac," said Lutz.
Med-Flight was called to the scene but Angler’s condition had worsened and was instead rushed to Genesis Hospital, and unfortunately did not make it.
"It’s just a very sad situation right before you go back to school. And we just stress to people at all times to be careful and this was a situation where who knows if he had been up there before. We haven’t really gotten a good statement yet from the parents because of the state that they are in," said Lutz.
Angler would have been a 4th grader this fall at Duncan Falls Elementary.
