Brides Admire Fashion, Caterers and Photographers at Bridal Show

Before a bride can walk down the aisle, there is a lot of planning that goes into her big day.

Many brides took the first step Sunday by going to the Pritchard-Laughlin Bridal and Prom showcase in Cambridge.

"It really helps them a lot because they get some general idea of what their cost is going to be and what all they have to have to start their wedding. It is very helpful," says Bonnie Cleary, one of the organizers of the show.

Photographers, caterers, DJs and limousine services were on hand to meet the brides and discuss their options. Brianne Ball is getting married in September 2011 and attended the show to see what she will need when she begins planning her wedding.

"It really gave me a lot of options different caterers, different photographers and I want to have a destination wedding so I need to have someone who will travel with me and this has really given me a lot of insight and a lot of places that are willing to do what I need," says Brianne Ball.

The show also featured prom fashion and organizers say bright colors will be in for this prom season.
