Bruce Novaria (November 7, 1944 – July 16, 2010)
Bruce R. Novaria, 65, of Duncan Falls passed away at Genesis Hospice – Morrison House at 9:20 on Friday, July 16, 2010, with his loving family beside him.
Bruce was born on Nov 7, 1944 in Zanesville and is the son of the late Bruce and Bertha Harper Novaria. He was a army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
Bruce worked in the potteries,. was a coal miner, then at Longbergers and retired from Kelloggs.
He is a member of the Eagles and American Legion Post 29. He was an avid hunter and fisherman for shovel head catfish and enjoyed riding his four wheeler. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his three daughters, Amy Novaria and her companion John moore of Duncan Falls, Deanna (Bryan) Drumheller of Duncan Falls, and Crissy (Shaun) Lawver of Philo. Five grandchildren Randy, Brittany, Bryan, Kelsey, and Kelton. A sister Carol and Dale Swingle of Blue Rock. Many Neices and Nephews as well as Great and Great great Neices and nephews. The mother of his children and caregiver Edie Novaria. His good neighbors including Smiley McConaha and Rob Starrett.
In addition to his parents Bruce was preceded in death by a infant son, Brother Gary Novaria, a half brother Kennth Novaria, and a Great Granddaughter Braylee Dawn Euman.
Friends may call at the Thompson Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls 2-4 and 6 to 8 Monday where the funeral will be 2 PM on Tuesday. with Rev Steve Harrop officiating. Burial in Duncan Falls Cemetery. VFW Post 1058 will hold Military funeral at the Cemetery.
