Cambridge Police Investigate Death of 4-year-old Boy

The Cambridge Police Department is investigating the death of a four-year-old boy. 

Investigators say on Sunday officers were called to the emergency room at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center to investigate a child with injuries. 

The child was transported to a Columbus Hospital where he died Sunday night. 

The responding officer talked with hospital staff, sheriff’s deputies and the family of the child.  No other details have been released.  The case remains under investigation.
