Carol Sue Gill (January 31, 1941 – May 25, 2016)

ZANESVILLE
Carol Sue Gill 75 of Nashport passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on January 31, 1941 to the late James and Margaret Thomas Phipps.
She was a graduate of Muskingum Area Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting. She worked for Dr. Sandlund for many years. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Zanesville First Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Free Methodist Church for 50 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Donald Ray Gill, a son David Gill, two daughters: Rhonda (Mike) Mourne and Donna (Dave) Angle, five grandchildren: Jennifer Mourne, Jackie Mourne, Nick Mourne, Nathaniel Angle, and Hannah Angle, and four brothers: Leon (Dottie) Phipps, Dale (Susan) Phipps, Bruce (Janet) Phipps, and Gary Phipps.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Roy Phipps who died in the Viet-Nam war protecting our freedom.
Calling hours will be 4-8pm on Friday May 27, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be at 2pm on Saturday in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Dr. Steve Dupler officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery.
