Carolyn Ann Pinkerton

ZANESVILLE
Carolyn Ann Pinkerton, 78, of Zanesville, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was born November 11, 1938, to the late Orville Augustus Baird and Callie Maud Stansberry. Carolyn was in charge of teaching swimming lessons for 14 years at Lake Isabella through the Red Cross. Teaching kids to swim was her passion and her hope was in doing so she saved a life. She also coached synchronized swimming at the YMCA and helped in any other capacity in which she was needed. Carolyn was an instrumental part in the Brighton Historical District and she retired from Orthopedic Associates.
She is survived by a three sons: Keith Doran Pinkerton, Craig Alan Pinkerton and Kurt Shawn Pinkerton; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Herb Hawk and her step father Oliver Volpert.
Calling hours will be held 12PM to 2PM Monday, April 10, 2017 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, with funeral services to follow at 2PM, with Pastor Jim Moorehead officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 7650 East Pike, Norwich, OH 43767.
