Cassandra “Cassie” E. Spiker
Cassandra “Cassie” E. Spiker, 13 of Nashport died at 1:25 AM Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus after an 8 year courageous battle with Ewings Sarcoma.
She was born December 23, 2003 in Zanesville Ohio the daughter of Mark A. Spiker and Penny E. (Nicholson) Spiker.
“Cassie” was a 6th grade student at Nashport Elementary School where she was active with the Archery Team & last year competed in the State Archery Tournament.
She is survived in addition to her parents by her brothers & sisters;Â Celia Spiker, Katie Spiker, Christopher Spiker, Anthony Spiker, Sara Spiker, Bernadette “Bernie” Spiker. Grandparents; Marvin & Nancy Nicholson; Step-Grandmother, Barb Spiker; Aunts & Uncles, Scott & Erin Nicholson, Galen & Loni Nicholson, Renee Nicholson, Laura & Oliver Corrigan; eleven cousins. “Cassie” was preceded in death by Grandparents, Donna & Kenneth Spiker.
Friends may call 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will conclude at the Mattingly Settlement, Nashport Ohio.
