Center and Rankin Drives Speed Humps Installation

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The City of Zanesville Street Division has a street project continuing through the week.
The City Street Division is installing eleven speed humps on Center and Rankin Drives. The speed humps can be used to reduce speed and amount of traffic. During installation, the road will be closed to one lane and flaggers will be on site.
“City Council approved the installation of 11 speed humps on Center Drive and Rankin. Three on Rankin, eight on Center Drive,” said Street Supervisor, Michael West.
“Weather permitting, we’ll be out here installing them. We have four down right now as of 11 o’clock,” West added.
Be cautious in work areas and use an alternate route if possible. The project is expected to be completed on Friday, August 30.
