Center for Seniors Annual Christmas Dinner

ZANESVILLE, OH –Hundreds of senior citizens gathered at the Muskingum County Center for Seniors for an early holiday dinner.
This annual event brings joy to seniors year after year. While the dinner is the main focus for many attendees, there are also some opportunities to win big with the prize giveaways.
“We host the F.O.P. dinner here at the center for seniors. This is our 3rd year doing it here at the building,” said Center for Seniors Exec Director Kate Paul. “We enjoy working with F.O.P. to make sure that the seniors have a great meal during the holiday season.”
For over a decade, the F.O.P. has held the senior dinner, with the exception of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the location has changed a few times, the tradition remains consistent, and it sells out every year.
“It’s a great time for the seniors to come together, the tickets went quick this year, it only took about a day and a half to get rid of 500 tickets for everybody, F.O.P. President Phil Michel added. “Everybody was waiting. Kind of chomping at the bit for a reason to come and have some fun.”
F.O.P President Michel shared that his favorite part of the event is getting involved every year and hearing the stories from the citizens attending.
